January 2023 Volunteer of the Month

Karen Hall is our volunteer of the month for January 2023!

 

Karen serves in the Referral Department and as a Special Projects Volunteer for the Volunteer Department. She has been with LVIM for eight months and has 197 volunteer hours.

Before coming to LVIM, Karen worked as an RN in the Education Department at Winter Haven Hospital for 40 years.

Outside of LVIM, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and completing jigsaw puzzles.

Karen’s favorite part of being an LVIM volunteer is that “the work that we do fills a void for those without insurance who historically fall through the cracks.”
