October 2025 Volunteer of the Month

This October, we are proud to celebrate Tom Sauer as LVIM’s Volunteer of the Month!

In just over three years, Tom has dedicated an incredible 787 volunteer hours as a Clinical Assistant and EKG Technician. His LVIM journey started at the Swan Derby, where his interest in volunteering grew into a weekly commitment to caring for our patients.

Although his career was in the food industry, Tom has always had a love for the medical field. Volunteering at LVIM has brought that passion full circle. He says the best part is getting to know our patients, staff, and fellow volunteers—and the feeling is mutual! Tom’s loyalty, kindness, and dedication make him such a valued member of our LVIM family.
