September 2023 Volunteer of the Month

Carol Taylor is our Volunteer of the Month for September 2023!

Carol has been one of our Mobile Food Pantry volunteers since 2021 and has served 172 hours. Before retiring, she worked as a bank underwriter and an office manager. When not volunteering at LVIM, Carol volunteers with Oasis at Lakeland High School- benefiting the HEARTH Project. When asked what her favorite part of volunteering at LVIM’s Mobile Food Pantry, Carol said that it is being able to provide the service to those who need it because no one should be hungry in Polk County.
