September 2024 Volunteer of the Month

Congratulations to Patty Basford, our Volunteer of the Month for September! Patty volunteers as a Patient Enrollment Screener on Mondays and Wednesdays and has been with LVIM since September 2023. She has contributed 271 hours of service, valued at $8,884.57.

With a background in Human Resources, Patty also brings valuable experience from her time training service dogs at NEADS in Massachusetts and volunteering with Kids Pack in Lakeland. In her free time, she enjoys playing Mahjong and running a community book club.

Patty’s favorite part of volunteering is giving back to her community. She’s proud to be part of an organization as important as LVIM and finds joy in making a difference, no matter how small.
